Why I became an editor
I love words! I enjoy reading, and as a very conscientious and detail-oriented person, I have an inherent talent for proofreading and copy editing text as I read. I am a volunteer proofreader/copy editor and enjoy producing thorough and precise work. As a legal secretary, I was given more responsibility in my position because of my efficient and reliable performance. With my experience as well as my commitment to a superior work ethic, I look forward to completing your projects in a meticulous and punctual manner.
Background and experience
I worked over ten years as a legal secretary, a few years in ministry work, and several years volunteering in the school district, library, and as a copy editor/proofreader.

I love to help others and one way I can do this is to help their writing showcase itself. I love to proofread and edit so that every detail is covered and the end result is excellence.

Editing tips:
I always first make a clean copy, set the proofing language, and remove any double spaces. Then I read the entire document through and then edit and proofread.
