Why I became an editor
As a media and communications graduate, as well as an aspiring writer, I recognise that form and accuracy are vital to sending a powerful message. Proofreading gives me the satisfaction of helping others improve their message, while also helping to maintain the standards of my own writing.

I have spent the last 13 years working in accounts administration for various national companies.
Why I love proofreading and editing
I love proofreading because it is satisfying to help refine other people's ideas into a flowing piece of writing, and I also appreciate the opportunity for insight into different topics.

Hobbies:
When I am not proofreading, I enjoy writing, playing the guitar, and watching movies.
Editing tips:
I read through the document several times, focusing on a different aspect each time. I resolve quick fixes as I read and highlight other areas to come back to.
