Favorite referencing style
My favorite referencing style is Harvard because I find it to be simple and straight-forward. It's also the style that I'm most familiar with, having used it myself in university.
Why I became an editor
I have loved reading since the age of four, so it was only natural that I would go on to become a writer. I studied English and creative writing at university, and during my time there I helped my friends and fellow students by proofreading their assignments. I discovered that proofreading is something I am truly passionate about.
I know first-hand that putting thoughts into words is never easy, so I want to help others make their writing the best it can be!
Background and experience
I offered proofreading services at university. I have also proofread websites and social media pages for a small business.
Why I love proofreading and editing
Being able to help others put their thoughts onto paper is something that brings me joy. I especially enjoy proofreading anything creative, such as novels, short stories, poetry, and screenplays.
Favorite book:
Pet Sematary by Stephen King
Hobbies:
When I'm not proofreading, you can usually find me curled up on the couch with my cat and a good book.
Editing tips:
When I first open a document I like to skim through it a couple of times, editing any errors I find. I then give it a thorough read, being certain to focus on each and every word to catch any mistakes I might have missed. It's important to be meticulous.
