Favorite referencing style
Professionally, I prefer working with APA, as this is where I am most experienced. Personally, I prefer reading books with footnote referencing.
Why I became an editor
Although I have explored a diverse range of interests both in my professional life and in my hobbies, I always return to my love of words and language. Proofreading has been part of my work days for many years in one form or another: communications, marketing, documentation and more. And I love reading!
Background and experience
My professional background is mainly in administration, operations and marketing. I have also worked in translation.
Why I love proofreading and editing
I love finding errors, questioning meaning and making messages clearer. I enjoy working with the rules of referencing and the formulas in formatting.
