Why I became an editor
I studied philosophy and mechanical engineering at university, during which I developed a passion for writing and editing and published two poetry books. When I graduated, I wanted to be an independent artist and make a living doing the things I love. Editing fulfills this.
Background and experience
I have been working as a freelancer at Proofed for roughly two years. I have also edited website content for companies outside of Proofed on a frequent basis.
Why I love proofreading and editing
Editing is very satisfying for me. It's like finishing a puzzle or cleaning a dirty room. I especially enjoy editing social science papers, as well as philosophy, religious studies, and politics. Having studied mechanical engineering for five years, I am also proficient in mathematics and the hard sciences.

Hobbies:
Outside of editing, I am a writer and artist, so I spend most of my time painting and/or daydreaming.

Dive straight in and think, which is to say reflect, after the document is completed.
